WATERMELON CARROT SMOOTHIE




INGREDIENTS :

Carrot - 2 big
Watermelon - Few chunks
Honey/Sugar

METHOD OF PREPARATION :

1) Blend carrot well with water and filter it...
2) Then , blend its juice with watermelon .
3) Serve with honey...and chilled.

PANEER CARROT WATERMELON KHEER



INGREDIENTS :

Milk - 1/2 litre
Sugar 
Paneer - 100 gms
Carrot - 1 big
Water melon - few cubes
Ghee

METHOD OF PREPARATION :

1) Boil milk and reduce to half of proper kheer consisency . Mix sugar well with it.
2) Scramble paneer well and slighlty cook for 2 minutes till the raw smell leaves and them mix it with blended carrot , water melon .
3) Finally , add panner mix with the milk and stir it up well . 

Serve chill or warm .

CHOCOLATE COOKIES




A month before , i received a hudson canola oil from a lady for its product review....The oil is good for cooking and baking....flavourful too.




INGREDIENTS :

Plain flour - 1 cup
Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
Cocoa powder - 2 tsps
Powdered sugar to taste
Oil - 4 tsps


METHOD OF PREPARATION :

1) Knead a soft dough with the above ingredients .
2) Preheat oven for 10 minutes a 180 deg.c
3) Roll small balls of the dough , flatten it and arrange it on a butter greased plate and bake for 20 minutes.
4) Check in between for the proper texture.
5) Once done , allow it to cool down and serve with hot coffee / tea.

WATERMELON SANDESH

Let's Celebrate Holi with this yummy sandesh...







INGREDIENTS :

Paneer - 200 gms
Sugar to taste
Watermelon juice - 3 tsps
Ghee - 1 tsp

METHOD OF PREPARATION :

1) Scramble the paneer well . Mix it with sugar and watermelon juice .
2) Heat a pan with a spoon of ghee . Fry the panner for 5-6 minutes in slow flame.
3) Remove from the flame and allow it to cool down. 
4) Roll small balls of it and flatten it . Sandesh is ready to serve .Serve chilled .

RED POHA QUICK BREAKFAST





INGREDIENTS :

Red poha - 1/2 cup
Milk - 1/4 cup
Sugar / Honey 


METHOD OF PREPARATION :

1) Soak poha in milk for 10 --15 mins .It mustn't be soggy  .


2) Mix it with sugar or honey .

MIXED VEGETABLE DOSA




INGREDIENTS :

Mixed Vegetables (Carrot , Beetroot , Potato , Cauliflower , corn , palak) - 1 cup
Dosa batter

METHOD OF PREPARATION :

1) Pressure cook veggies for 2 whistles with little of salt , turmeric powder and 2 tsps of Chilli powder.
2) Then , blend them to a fine paste and mix it well with dosa batter.
3) Heat dosa pan and spread a ladle of batter and a spoon of ghee.
4) Flip to it's side and serve hot with Sambar / Chutney.

KAREVEPILLAI PODI / CURRY LEAVES POWDER



INGREDIENTS :

Karevepillai / Curry leaves - 1 bunch
Channa dal - 2 tbsps
Black Urat dal - 1 tbsp
Toor dal - 1 tbsp
Red Chillies - 5- 6 nos
Asafoetida - 1 tsp
Finely sliced coconut - 1/4 cup
Salt to taste

METHOD OF PREPARATION :

1) Roast curry leaves with a spoon of oil till the flavour rules out...should not burn it.
2) Transfer it to a bowl , then roast sliced coconut well till the flavour rules out .
3) Transfer this the bowl of curry leaves , fry dal together till roasted and then transfer them too.
4) Finally , roast chillies and grind it with salt and asafoetida a bit coarsely . Store it in an air tight container .
5) Mix it with Gingelly oil / Ghee will serving it with Hot Rice.

HOMEMADE MUTTON MASALA POWDER



INGREDIENTS :

Red Chillies - 25 gms
Coriander seeds - 15 gms
Cumin seeds - 10 gms
Black Pepper- 10 gms
Biriyani Leaf- 3
Cloves - 10 gms
Dried and fried Garlic cloves - 10 nos
Cinnamon sticks - few
Staranise - few
Dried Mint - 5 tsps
Kasthuri Methi - few 
Mustard - 1 tsp
Fennel seeds - 5 gms
Kuskus - 1 tsp
Salt

METHOD OF PREPARATION :

1) Dry fry them one by one and grind them to a fine powder with sufficient salt.
2) Store them in an air tight container.

MY FIRST PUBLISH IN MFR MAGAZINE, UK

I would love to share few happy moments with you all . My recipe ,Coconut Honey Cookies got published in MFR magazine uk , which won me a cash prize .....it was such a unexplainable happiness when Jagruti bhabhi informed and scanned me the photocopy . Warm hugs and kisses to you bhabhi . And the most happiest part of it was this was my first baked cookie .
